incoherence

it's a fascinating thing,

how we were made.

how things like emotions can be easily translated

through expressions, tones of voice, or behavior.

but the mind, a vault of thoughts,

is a portal that requires a key

and there's only one key 

intrinsically embedded in every individual

not meant to be shared

because God knew

ideas were meant to be contained.

sometimes i feel like i purposely forget people

to forget how they made me feel

to forget what they made me think

to forget when they forgot me first

every now and then i see someone special

someone i want to get to know

because they look like they have a good back story

it isn't that there's something particularly special about them

in fact, it's those with nothing special at all

that i like most

in general, i'm just fascinated by beings

sometimes i think things and i wonder

if anyone's ever thought of it before

am i one of a kind now?

did i make something special?

i think i'm crazy

i wonder if anyone's ever thought that before.

when you eat something you love,

and you eat it a lot,

you get sick of it..

so you stop eating it.

and then after a long while,

after you've banned it from your palette,

you see it somewhere and you think

hey, i'm gonna try it again

i remember liking this

so you try it

but it doesn't taste the same anymore

and you wonder

what about it

you liked so much in the first place

then you question

whether or not you've ever liked it at all
