your heart has an insatiable appetite. you consume what you believe will satisfy, but you always seem to want more, want better, and want more urgently. you're not sure if you're looking for past preferences or if you want to try something new that'll clear and refresh your palette-- something that'll hit reset and prepare you for another full course meal.
sometimes people take so long with appetizers that the rest of the meal grows cold and unappealing by the time they get to it. other times, people rush through the meal so quickly that they are unable to enjoy or later on remember the experience. most often times, people skip the main course and dive right into the dessert. dessert is tempting, but with it comes guilt ridden consequences and no trace of nutritional value.
i guess what i'm saying is moderate your hunger. if you starve your heart for too long, anything will taste good and everything will satisfy. au contraire, if you feed your heart before it grows hungry again, nothing will taste good. pace yourself, love is meant to be consumed slowly.
