after being gifted a "Q&A a day" book by my best, i have decided to start using it as a prompt for daily blogs.. i guess i'll just let the ball get rolling from there. today's question was: "how did you get to work today?"
i drove.. in my car.. on the freeway! sufficient answer, i suppose. i've been doing a lot of driving lately. driving to school from home takes about 20 minutes, driving to work from school takes about 30 minutes, and driving from work to home takes about 25 minutes. work isn't really a place, since i private tutor at numerous homes. this year, my students are from west covina, walnut, yorba linda, and irvine.. which means i'm stuck in my car for more than an hour everyday. i hate driving. i really hate driving. i try to preoccupy myself by thinking of random shit to ponder. i never have trouble coming up with things to think about. i owe it to my overactive imagination. these are some thoughts that crossed my mind today.
things i'm good at:
1. making 1 on 1 small talk
2. cleaning my room
3. coming up with excuses
4. thinking of puns
5. figuring out surprises
6. hula hooping
7. speed walking
8. texting back fast
9. imitating my mom
10. drawing block letters
things i suck at:
1. being patient
2. push ups
3. sitting still
4. picking up my parent's phone calls
5. being on time
6. hide and seek
7. waking up to alarms
8. self control when it comes to dessert
9. meeting big groups of people
10. wearing matching socks
things that make me happiest:
1. new stationary, especially pens
2. when food comes out really fast at restaurants
3. hugging when it's cold out
4. being baby spoon
5. fudge pops
6. finding nice things on sale
7. looking at baby clothes
8. "tie a ribbon round the ole oak tree"
9. long weekends
10. doing well on tests
things that make me sad:
1. seeing old friends but not saying hi
2. forgetting the names of songs i like
3. pimples, bad hair days, bad makeup days
4. when my jokes are only funny to me
5. commercials on youtube that i can't skip
6. only getting red starbursts in the mini packs
7. smudgy penmanship
8. deadlines and unrealistic obligations
9. not being able to resolve a fight
10. litterbugs
i have a paper to write and a research proposal to come up with.
