target audience

when dogs do something wrong, they hide. since they only have basic reasoning skills, they think avoiding confrontation will resolve a problem. so they hide under beds and under sofas. they hide wherever dark, not wanting to be seen. they hope that their owners forgive them or forget about the incident altogether. but eventually, the mischievous creature will wander out, forgetting what it was hiding for in the first place.. and as for the conscious human being, the owner will very well be aware of what the dog did. after all, it  had to live in a home with dirt tracks and no canine. hypothetical discretion, the owners not angry. i'm just glad you knew to hide. you may be a dirty dog, but at least you have a conscience and that's half better than i thought you would be.
