before trying to fix anything situational in your life, fix what's going on inside. focus about your thoughts and your feelings before you worry about your actions. if you don't feel like you're ready for a change, don't force it. don't make yourself uncomfortable just to prove a point to other people, or to prove anyone wrong. lay a solid foundation to build yourself on. don't let doubt and uncertainties surface. make sure that shit is resolved once you start building. if not, demolition is inevitable and it'll be a never ending cycle of building an basic frame that requires constant starting over because of faulty planning. there aren't excuses that justify incompetency anymore. you're old enough to know full well what you're doing, and you're young enough for the changes to become and stay permanent. the time is now to take responsibility for your actions or lack of. don't approach things by pitying yourself and blaming others for your shortage of direction, ambition, or whatever it may be. no one can make you better. nothing they say or do determines the course of your life. if you want a change, you're fully capable of making it happen. keep your head on straight. don't let temporary emotions dictate what you think will be best for you in the long run. really fucking slow progress is better than being steadfast so take your time so long as you're moving forward. make ripples before waves. inch your way forward. promise, change will happen when you're ready and that's when it should.. if that makes any sense.
