Hypothetical Example

She finds a pair of shoes that she loves, and is told that these shoes are the only pairs ever made. She loves them and once she gets her hands on them, she can't let go of them. Then she tries them on and realizes that they are a little snug. She knows that if she wears them out a couple times, they might possibly stretch out to fit her perfectly. Problem is, she knows that wearing them out will take a while, her feet will hurt (preventing her from getting to places she needs to be), and the possibility of it working out in her favor is 50/50. Chances are.

I'm not going to let anyone else have these shoes, even if they never end up fitting me.
