"If you think it’s time to let go, then just let go. There’s no point in looking back to what you have already lost." -ANON
Don't hold onto a love that can't love back.
"You need to take care of yourself before anyone else. You can't really love someone else until you are completely happy yourself. (After all), it's good to be selfish sometimes, because in the end you can give more." -CEK
Even though this mess hasn't died down completely and my feelings are still all over the place, the bigger picture is clearer than it has ever been. I am far too insecure to feel safe with anyone else, far too indecisive to be sure of myself with anyone else, and far too afraid of being real with myself to be real with anyone else. I don't love myself enough to realize that there is nothing to be afraid of. I am wholly worth loving.
With each relationship, a lesson is undoubtedly prepared in store for me to humbly learn-- And with each lesson learned, I am slowly understanding that seriousness of love and virtue. Love isn't about just the good times, about the memories that can't seem to fade, or about the promises that turned out to be empty and unsatisfying.. it's about embracing everything not worth remembering, (the anxiety, the anguish, the brief lapses of a seemingly hell on earth), and realizing that everything in its entirety is definitely worth holding onto. Simply, never expect love to always be at its best cause if you do, you’ll never learn to appreciate its existence.
two steps at a time stine,
you'll get there eventually.

P.S. what a wonderful weekend with all the ones I love! OC fair, face painting, birthday dinners, karaoking, dance parties, star gazing, silliness, random Sunday afternoons, and lots and lots of wababa.
